Tsé Bitʼaʼí is Navajo for Winged Rock. It was an honor to be able to fly around this sacred place.

Tsé Bitʼaʼi is Navajo for "rock with wings". The Navajo legend is that this rock became a giant bird that flew their people to safety from the lands far to the north to escape a warring tribe. This is how they arrived at their current homelands. I had the pleasure of meeting my buddy Chris Burkard here and we experienced it up close for the first time on a cold winter morning in March.
