The Valle Vidal is one of the most pristine valleys in northern New Mexico. It literally means vibrant valley or valley of life and is home to abundant wildlife populations and forests. In 2006 it was protected from oil and gas exploitation by local organizers who were able to get an act of congress to protect it's delicate balance for the future.
